• Nice Bible For The Price

I bought this NASB for use in a discipleship Bible study program. Did some research in advance and decided I wanted the NASB as a compromise between the KJV and the NIV.
Leather cover seems a bit on the thin side. A couple other minor physical details not worth mentioning. Binding looks solid as does the gold trim edge on the pages. Expect it to hold up well however, time will tell.
Overall, very satisfied with the purchase and considering the price point, consider this Bible to be an excellent value.

Margins weren't as wide as I thought they would be. This isn't necessarily a reflection of the description. Overall a nice Bible.

• Best Bible *i've* Ever Owned

The genuine leather cover is superb and high quality (my first genuine leather Bible). The paper feels thick and seems to have a solid binding (although I'm not an expert in that area). I'm a fan of the NASB Updated Edition translation for it's literalness and readability (only translation I use regularly outside of the KJV). I especially like having the side-column references that allow a single column of the text (easier to read and to locate the references). The text type seems very large to me, but I have very good reading vision. The large text type will probably come in handy in the future as my reading vision declines. A not too large not too small concordance with book introductions and color maps round out a complete almost everything I'll ever need Bible. All and all one of my best purchases recently!

• Has Stood Up To 10 Years Of Constant Use

I own most translations of the Bible. I like to compare. But whenever I get tempted to start regularly using a translation other than the NASB, it doesn't take long to return to the one I know is best.
I have had this bible since 1999, and it is still in excellent shape. I plan to use this Bible for the rest of my life.
You can't go wrong with this Bible!

• Lockman Nasb Not A Wide Margin. It Is Still A Nice Bible Though

The pictures of the pages are NOT accurate. For an accurate view of the pages, look on the Lockman web site or [...]. They are accurate for this ISBN.
Aside from the wrong images, Amazon was great as usual. When I asked them about the margins, they sent another bible out right away in case it was a defect in the bible...it wasn't, the new one was the same.
The bible is very nice. Good font size and layout, nice cover, good quality, great price. Look at the other positive reviews for detailed descriptions. I just wanted to point out the margin issue so you aren't disappointed if this is a "Must Have" for you.
